ZUCCA, Renowned Coral Gables Restaurant Announces Future Move To Regency Parc

Restaurant moving from historic Hotel St. Michel in Coral Gables to the premium ground-floor corner space at the future ultra-luxury residential tower.

ZUCCA, the beloved fine dining establishment known for its authentic Italian cuisine, award-winning wine cellar, and gracious hospitality, will be the world-class restaurant coming to the ground floor of the new Regency Parc ultra-luxury residential rental tower, currently under construction in Coral Gables. The move is set to take place in 2026.

Regency Parc, a class-defining, 126-unit ultra-luxury lifestyle building, is the vision of renowned Coral Gables based developer Armando Codina, Executive Chairman of Codina Partners—a real estate development and investment firm he started with his daughter, Ana-Marie Codina in 2009. Codina, who has been intimately involved in the design and curation of the building, will be making the top floor his home. Among the myriad of carefully assembled amenities, Regency Parc will host ZUCCA in the building’s ground floor space at the corner of Salzedo Street and Valencia Avenue. The space spans over 6,400 square feet including a covered alfresco dining space.

From the very initial planning stages of the project, Codina shared that a world-class restaurant at the corner of Salzedo Street and Valencia Avenue was always part of the vision. “I was looking for a restaurant that had a strong and loyal following, had a proven track record, and plenty of variety in their menu so you could dine multiple times per week. ZUCCA made the very short list, so I invited them to be our flagship tenant,” said Codina. “More importantly, I also wanted a place that wasn’t trying to be trendy. We were looking for an establishment that exuded classic elegance, and ZUCCA is one of the finest in Coral Gables. They offer a premium dining experience that rivals restaurants you typically find in New York, and the wide array of options they offer patrons, from fish to premium steak and pastas made it the ideal choice. Personally, their veal parmesan and stuffed Zucchini flowers are among my favorites.”

According to Codina, the restaurant will have access to the resort deck via one of the building’s service elevators. Residents will be able to order from the restaurant and have their food delivered directly to their lounger or cabana. The restaurant will also be offering catering for residents’ private events and festivities in the building’s social pavilion, as well as room-service style deliveries sent directly to residents’ units.

Erasmo da Silva, owner of ZUCCA and Da Silva Hospitality Group, expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for the invitation to join Regency Parc, stating “Armando Codina is a dear friend and dines at ZUCCA regularly. It was impossible to refuse the opportunity to be part of this unique and iconic building.” said Da Silva. This new space will allow us to serve even more customers in an elevated space that is at the heart of The City Beautiful.”

The Italian fine-dining establishment originally opened its doors at Hotel St. Mitchel in Coral Gables back in March of 2017, and has since been serving exquisite, authentic Italian dishes prepared by its Chef de Cuisine, Chef Manuel Garcia. Chef Garcia has worked at some of the finest Michelin-starred restaurants in the world, such as L’esperance at the renowned La Cote Saint-Jacques & Spa along the French Riviera, and in Mostassa at Hotel Le Meriden in Barcelona, Spain.

Founded by Erasmo da Silva’s father, Jose da Silva, Da Silva Hospitality Group traces its roots back to 1950 when he established the business in Portugal before immigrating to the United States.

ZUCCA’s new location in Regency Parc, which is located at 2601 Salzedo Street, is slated to open towards the beginning of 2026. Until then, patrons may continue to indulge in ZUCCA’s world-class Italian dishes at their current location at 162 Alcazar Avenue in Coral Gables.
